Cultivating a daily wellness regiment is a way to add balance to your every day. Setting aside a designated time for yourself has the ability to change your whole outlook. Starting your day with a routine, a few minutes to check in with yourself-mind and body, can be a game changer. Setting the alarm for 20 minutes earlier and gifting yourself that time is the routine. What you do during that time will develop and evolve with each day. During this workshop we will explore the practices of meditation, pranayama (breath work), asana (yoga poses), and journaling. You will develop a 15-20 minute morning practice guideline individualized to you and your practice.
I will guide you through the practice of Insight Meditation and a box breathing technique. We will break down sun salutations and a handful of other postures designed both for stimulating and grounding. I will provide you with a guideline to create a routine that fits your individual needs and goals. I will offer the tools, techniques, and support as you develop a routine that will be beneficial to you and something you can use to jump start and than maintain your New Years resolutions.
