Join me for a very special offering: a weekend of Yin Yoga, Buddhist meditation, and Yoga Nidra. There is a very very limited amount of space for this training. It is designed to be a cloistering of sorts, and the residential spots in particular are very few, so please save your place as soon as possible.
This weekend welcomes those that simply seek to deepen their own practice, or seek a personal retreat. This weekend is also very much a comprehensive training developed for serious students and teachers interested in learning the core physical aspects of the practice of Yin Yoga, in order to teach the practice.
YSK Yin and Nidra Training will include:
Students will receive a certificate of training in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra from Yoga San Kalpa RYS- YACEP, which is eligible for Continuing Education Credit (50 hours) with the Yoga Alliance. By the end of this weekend - which does include practice teaching - you will have the foundations to teach a complete class in each style, and the resources to begin doing so professionally, if you choose.
You do not need to read these prior to the training, instead we will have readings from each included int he weekend, and they will be essential reference guides after your training.
The days will vary in terms of schedule, but each day will include practice in yoga, nidra and meditation, interspersed with classes on content, work-shopping and practice teaching. These are very full days, there is a lot of nuanced content to cover as we navigate the physical, energetic, and emotional aspects of each of these practices.
Rates and Lodging Options:
Our training is held in a fully restored 1880 farmhouse with modern amenities: radiant concrete floors, furnished by both genuine antiques and lush Restoration Hardware pieces, all new high-end appliances, and a 7 ft, radiant heated copper bath tub. While we are in a secluded area, we are close to Montague center, and the cafe/restaurants of the Bookmill.
You may live nearby, and are welcome to commute in each day. However, cloistering yourself in for the weekend as a residential student - away from daily concerns, habits and obligations - will inevitably provide a deeper experience.
For those commuting, we will begin each day promptly, so plan travel accordingly with the potential of winter weather.
Tuition is $650
