We intended to do our Peru retreat once. Every single person, ourselves included, were so blown away by every single experience, we had too book another year. Words can’t describe it, pictures don’t come close. This trip is an absolute slam dunk to say yes to. It is truly the trip of a lifetime. The experiences, the sights, the people, you will never forget it, and you will never regret it. We would love to have you join us for this next adventure of discovery - both inward and outward - that will leave us changed in ways we can’t possibly predict.

Included:

• Daily yoga, Pilates (mat, circle, portable reformer bands) and meditation (2 times daily when excursion schedule allows)

• 8 days, 7 nights (6 nights at Willka T’ika, 1 night in Cusco)

• Organic gourmet vegetarian meals daily when at Willka T’ika

• 1 day at Machu Picchu

• 7 days of local guides available to the group to experience the area and history

• 7 beautiful meditation gardens, each designed uniquely around a specific chakra, with a labyrinth for walking meditation/insight

• Beautiful sun-filled yoga studio space, stocked with mats and props

• A therapeutic, Andean-style luxury spa to restore the body and rejuvenate the spirit

• Authentic Andean offering and fire ceremony with Q’ero Pakko healer

• Hiking the P’isaq ruins, and shopping in the famous market

• Maras Salt Flats in walking distance

• Visit to Urubamba’s authentic market, Seminario Pottery Studio, and alpaca factory store

• Transportation from the Cusco Airport on the first day of the retreat for all guests when they arrive (recommended to arrive by 11am)

• One group transfer to the airport on departure day, timed with the majority of departing flights. Ideal departures are between 2-5pm.

• Transport for arrivals/departures outside the arrival/departure days and time windows (taxi to/from airport at other times is $60-$90 for up to 4 people)

Custom-designed Andean adobe architecture blends the physical and natural environment with the surrounding gardens and mountainscapes, creating an atmosphere of traditional, yet refined luxury. Local artwork decorates interior and exterior walls, and Andean ornaments can be found throughout.

Willka T’ika offers beautiful communal spaces created especially for group gatherings. These include two yoga studios, a furnished library, a music room with instruments, a ceremonial temple room, and an outdoor fire area. The Chakra Gardens also provide various outdoor spaces for quiet gatherings.

Willka T’ika guest rooms are uniquely designed and named according to local medicinal plants, found in the nearby gardens. The majority of rooms are shared (doubles and triples). If you are traveling with folks, you will be paired together. Please specify at booking if possible. A few private single rooms are available.

Gourmet vegetarian meals are served daily, using high-protein Andean grains and legumes, as well as freshly-harvested organic vegetables from Willka T’ika gardens. The exotic fusion of Andean and international flavors in the colorful buffet breakfast and hearty three-course dinner ensure that every guest feels nourished and cared for. Special diet requests are accommodated, such as dairy/gluten free.

While this retreat is a chance to see an unforgettable corner of the globe, it offers the opportunity for great insight. As always, our teaching and practice will seek to connect us to a greater experience of ourselves, and greater engagement and responsibility within the world around us, and a greater sense of connection and ease that we can carry well beyond the retreat itself, into daily life. You may choose to have a deeply introspective and restful journey within the Sacred Valley. Willka T’ika is full of spaces and amenities to support that. And if you’re looking to explore, challenge yourself to new heights, and take the external and internal trek to Machu Picchu and other sites, this path is on offer as well.

Garden rooms are closer to dining hall, retreat entrance. Luxury rooms are usually 2nd floor, views of gardens, generally more private.

Pricing is per person - this is longer than most YSK retreats, and the bulk of the rate is in the travel throughout, the personal, guided experiences, the responsibly arranged, offered, and compensated ceremonies and offerings, etc.
